A RUNNING GUN BATTLE
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold. The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all. A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.” Proverbs 22:1-3
Roll yourself one if you are still addicted and listen up. It appears I have been drawn into a running spiritual gun battle with an assorted conglomeration of politically correct indigents, divergent Rainbow Coalition queers and a modicum of Christian pretenders.
The focal point for this gunfight at the not so OK Corral is the small City of Estevan located in the hee-haw, red neck, gaseous, oily, dusty cowboy country of our southern Saskatchewan border territory with the USA. I stopped there at the beginning of July to study Windows 10, complete work on my old motorhome and to allow pension funds to recoup a little. Throughout my weeks sojourn I met a lot of good neighbourly people, just the kind of folks that are being herded through the gates of Hell all over our nation. Such are basically gregarious, hard working and driven by a mixture of spiritual distortions, delusions, half truths and demonic lies that have blossomed into hedonistic, holistic gluttony and blatant greed. The distractions of food, sports and electronics rank high on the menu. Fat in myriad forms is rampant spiritually, monetarily and physically with all the standard excuses being prevalent for not genuinely changing for the better.

But, amid the hive of Estevan activities we still have people trying to establish and maintain some definition of community whereby the equitable needs of persons on all social steps of the family ladder are truly fulfilled. I had personal interaction with a great number of these folks, many whom will attest I stated to them: “There are a lot of nuts in Estevan, but there are more squirrels than nuts and squirrels do know how to look after their nuts.” This normally elicited a chuckle, a grin and agreement that moved the conversation onward. To most I further extended a handshake, drew them off balance and close toward me, stating: “Don’t worry. I’m grey, not Gay!” This usually garnered some pretty loud guffaws and shattered whatever conversational barriers that may still have been in the way. I clearly made it known to one and all I am not politically correct due to my Christian religious convictions. For the majority this was not a problem at all.
However, the response was far different from amid the large number of the Estevan Queer Coalition and their observable supporters that I let know I was in no manner politically correct surrounding the abominations of their lifestyles as Biblically described. Because of my refusal to compromise my Christian beliefs in the face of such elements it appears I am now headed toward a potential legal confrontation with the City of Estevan and filing of my grievances through the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission. Given this situation I am starting to move toward going public as I see my circumstance in Estevan as nothing more than a reflection of the spiritual malaise of Canada in general.
So, today we are going to introduce you to the two men most responsible for seeing that Estevan functions and grows as a healthy family oriented community embracing genuine Canadian cultural values. I believe both men are attempting this under the legal and civil mandates ascribed by the City of Estevan. I also believe that this emerging circumstance may test their resolve to provide the leadership the community of Estevan expects from them.
Town Administration falls under Roy Ludwig who has been the mayor of Estevan City since 2012. He now faces running a community where the decline in the oil market has left a great number of businesses shut down. Cycle around the streets and the spaces for rent or lease stare back at you as forlornly as the wallflowers at a Saskatchewan country dance. Further, of the numerous businessmen I spoke with they all stated they were facing an ongoing revenue decline of 35 to 45%. So Roy faces a tough job of giving everyone what they have grown to expect: a continuous easy way of feeling due to abundant cash flow.
As well, Roy has a great number of women running about dressed as men in his municipal services. They are probably outworking the males, but you can hang a sign on the back of most Estevan City service trunks the same as other Canadian communities. CAUTION: Stay Back 45 Feet and Lean on Your Shovels.
Poor Roy. He certainly needs persons of Christian persuasion to come under his command that truly comprehend this scripture: “Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eye service, as men pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that does wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.” (Colossians 3:22-25)
Whatever, it is persons directly under his chain of command that have brought about the circumstance now facing us and for which he shall ultimately have to provide answers. Even in a down turned economy the buck stops in this arena with our boy Roy! Thus, Mayor Ludwig, why can I not get an explanation for what I was supposed to have done that resulted in my being banned from your Estevan Rec Complex for one year? Why can no one provide me with an answer I started asking for on July 25, 2016?
Estevan Police Service Police Chief Paul Ladouceur arrived in Estevan April 2014 to continue a tradition of law enforcement and oversight that now in 2016 is hosting its 110 Year Celebration of enactment. Ultimately he is the one that has to answer for what occasions through law enforcement under his leadership in Estevan.
All true principles of leadership are found in the Bible. Where it comes to those who participate in law enforcement it clearly states they are ministers of God whether such persons understand this term or not. “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.” (Romans 13:1-5)
Because of evolution in language most persons associate ministers of God with some idea they have as being Christian pastors, teachers or deacons. This is not the case with the obsolete Greek base of our word of concern where it refers to attendants or ones who run on errands. But the scripture is clear that it is God that has placed such persons of authority in the offices they represent.
A crucial life area for Christians is how they live in relation to civil government, in daily dealing with those in authority over them. Both Old and New Testaments are replete with instruction telling people to obey the law of the land and those who enforce it. Christians are called to honor the ruler, to obey the governor and to respond (submit) to those who are in authority over them. To revolt against the king, to kill elected officials, to overtake city hall, to defy the police and to disobey the law is all contrary to what the Bible teaches.
There are only two exceptions to the universality of this divine command for submission. One is when government commands us to do what God clearly forbids us to do. And, reversing it, the second is that we cannot do what government forbids us to do if God commands us to do it. When we are instructed to do what God told us not to do, or when we are told not to do what God commanded us to do, at that point we are disobedient to God if we obey man. It may cost you freedom through imprisonment or even loss of your physical life to remain obedient to God.
Law enforcing authority God has designed to be society’s protector, the enforcers of civil order and law; and the principles are very clear. The Bible is also very clear how one handles conduct toward themselves of an unjust non-Biblical nature. It is for such reason that I must carry forward in my demand of answers and information that Chief Ladouceur is ultimately responsible to see I receive. So, again Chief, what could necessitate three police persons being dispatched on July 19, 2016 to see that one 73-year-old man understood he was being banned from the Estevan Rec Complex?
All actions taken against me were under the authority-administrative lineage of these two men. All circumstances, events, information required and questions put forth to both these parties requiring answering will be documented and posted for public consumption after I have completed my initial interactions with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission.
Further, I am now cracking open the door to some media sources and Christian activists with deliberate intent of bringing pressure to bear in my behalf upon these two men for the simple exposure of Truth about the grievances I have suffered.
