DAY 62

CANADIAN IDENTITY – PPC                                                                    Pamphlet # 1

A nation must be based on a sense of belonging, of participating in a common national project, and sharing the same values. It’s only when these sentiments are widely shared that we can develop the trust and common understanding necessary for our society and institutions to function.

In the past, immigrants who came to Canada gradually integrated into our society. They did of course keep some aspects of the culture of their country of origin. They became Canadian, but with a distinct flavour. This is a type of multiculturalism that enriches our society.

However, over the past decades, the government of Canada has pursued a policy of official multiculturalism that encourages immigrants to keep the values and culture they left behind instead of integrating into Canadian society and adopting Canadian values and culture.

With his cult of diversity, Justin Trudeau has pushed this ideology even further into a form of extreme multiculturalism. He described Canada as the first post-national state, with no core identity.

In a free society, immigrants have the right to cherish and maintain their cultural heritage. However, that doesn’t mean we have any obligation to help them preserve it, with government programs and taxpayers’ money. The vast majority of Canadians rightly expect them to learn about our history and culture, master one of our official languages, and adopt widely shared Canadian values.

Canada is and has always been a diverse country. We have First Nations and Inuit, two official languages, a multiethnic population, and very different regional cultures. The culture of Cape Breton is very different from that of the Eastern Townships in Quebec, or that of southern Alberta, or Nunavut. All these cultures are intrinsically Canadian. They developed in Canada. They don’t exist anywhere else in the world. They deserve to be nurtured and to survive.

Our distinct values are those of a contemporary Western civilization. They include: democracy; individual rights and freedoms, including freedom of religious belief and freedom to criticize religion; equality between men and women; the equal treatment of all citizens regardless of ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation; the rule of law; separation of state and religion; tolerance and pluralism; and loyalty to the wider society instead of to one’s clan or tribe.

Official multiculturalism is based on the idea that there is no unified Canadian society and no distinct Canadian identity to integrate into, and that we are just a collection of ethnic and religious tribes living side by side. But if we want to keep our country united, and ensure social cohesion, we must focus on what unites us as Canadians, not what divides us.

  • Repeal the Multiculturalism Act and eliminate all funding to promote multiculturalism. Emphasize instead the integration of immigrants into Canadian society.
  • Substantially lower the total number of immigrants and refugees Canada accept every year, from 350,000 to between 100,000 and 150,000 (see Immigration Policy = Pamphlet #3).
  • Ensure that every candidate for immigration undergoes a face-to-face interview and answers a series of specific questions to assess the extent to which they align with Canadian values and societal norms (see Immigration Policy = Pamphlet #3).

Freedom – Responsibility – Fairness – Respect

Be gone Trudeau. We do have a Spiritual Core that clearly defines the identity of the nation that emerged to what we now see as Canada.

Without the Core Values as displayed by First Nations people to the very first European feet to come ashore on their soil I would not be writing now. I would not even exist here for history would have walked an entirely different path. My family lines simply would not have been around to enter the Meadow Lake region as ‘original ox-cart pioneers’.

Our European ancestors would not have survived the first winter here if the First Nations people had not openly embraced them and taught them their cultural methods of living from the land. It was the First Nations Core Value of compassion for people that was displayed at the time.

There was no demand made that we follow their Spiritual practices and ceremonies to be able to survive. They did not place a price upon their compassion toward man and family.

It is time that all persons recognize what is truly owed First Nations Culture and the just positioning of First Nations Identity in all roles to be played in the weaving the new fabric of our land from this point onward.

The Spirit over this Nation now must be the same one that the first immigrants encountered when they entered First Nations lands. It must be ‘all embracing and life sustaining’ for everyone that follows its methods. Just as the methods and ways of the First Nations people were the only ways that the original immigrants were even able to survive, unless compassion is embraced at this time the Nation will not survive.

There is nothing to be feared in First Nations people receiving Justice for Agreements once made. This is long overdue.  And there is even less to be feared in their entering positions of Full Political Leadership in a translated Government that their cultural heritage and occupancy of this land demands.

The only way the current chaotic political stranglehold can possibly be removed from the throat of this Nation must come with this impending election. People must rise up now and ensure the First Nations Cultural Identity and Positions of Leadership to be assumed are treated with God ordained Freedom – Responsibility – Fairness and Respect.

It is impossible for this to take place under the traditional parties of the Liberals embedded with lies and Conservatives embracing us with arms of corruption. There can be no relief to the Canadian economic and spiritual travail – no successful solution with them given the nature of what they truly espouse and their historical track records.

It appears that we do have strong possibility of greatly improved Canadian Governance under the leadership of Maxime Bernier and the People’s Party of Canada. We shall soon know what the People of this Nation decree.

However there remains a fact that no one may evade. True fulfillment of Justice must come in all arenas affecting First Nations family life or the lives of all Canadian families shall be ravaged to the same degree that has been thrust upon them through the Governments of man. The God I know, love and serve has stated this shall be.

We have a choice to do what is right, what is righteous in relationship to our First Nations neighbours or suffer the consequence of Godly chastisement for our inaction.

It truly is our choice but God has also used the First Nations to give us a wake-up call. He has used them to declare loudly His hatred of our injustice displayed toward our fellow man. As well, the First Nations have made it clear they will tolerate injustice no longer in the land whose Core Values originated through their National Identity.

First Nations are demanding their right to full Political Leadership Status in Canada and will back down no longer.

And they are righteous and justified in doing so.  We can expect compassionate action of leadership that was originally over this Nation when our ancestors arrived and it is only such Leadership that will truly bring about the healing desperately needed in our country.

Or we can expect the fury of a people that will be pushed no further in their Own Cultural Landscape called Canada.

Read and heed:

A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.  (Proverbs 22:3)

Do what is morally right now Canada or expect Political Chaos in proportion to your spiritual cowardice and politically correct ineptitudes that are a stench in the nostrils of my God.

The most dangerous belief you can fall victim to at this juncture in time within the Nation of Canada is the idea that there exists such an entity as Moderate Islam.

The following proves this beyond any shadow of a doubt whether you are comfortable with the fact or not.
